The Results 513 Show

Freedom-JournalHopefully me sharing this will inspire you, motivate you, and get you even more excited about setting and accomplishing your #1 goal than ever before….

In Episode 004 of The Results 513 show, I introduced you to my “secret weapon” for setting and accomplishing my goals this year: The Freedom Journal.

The Freedom Journal is designed to help you set and accomplish your #1 goal in 100 days. It’s made up of daily accountability, 10 day sprints, and quarterly reviews.

As a result of using this tool, I’ve literally got 3 months worth of productive work done in just 25 days!

Since I was a past guest on Entrepreneur On Fire, I got an early look at the freedom journal. I started using it on Dec 22, 2015, (it went live to the public on Jan 4th) and I immediately fell in love…

…so far I’ve completed two successful 10 day sprints.

In this post, I’m going to walk through my first “quarterly review” and show you what all has happened for me in just the first 25 days!

I’ll start from the top…

Be sure to listen to the complete audio version of this episode by clicking the play button at the top of this post.

Or… if you prefer video, you can watch the video version of this complete training below. (disclaimer: my video editing skills are lame… so it’s not much different than the audio – in time, this will get better… promise)

My SMART 100 Day Goal

On day 1, you are asked to write down your SMART goals:

S – Specific
M – Measurable
A – Attainable
R – Relevant
T – Time-bound

All of these are broken down and explained inside the first few pages of the freedom journal, so I’m not going to go into them here.

The SMART goal that I wrote down on day 1 was this:

Create a daily automatic content machine. (meaning setup everything so it not only pumps out content daily, but I also want that to happen automatically)

First 10-Day Sprint

Once I had my SMART goal for the 100 days, it was time to set my goals for the first 10 day sprint.

If you are interested, I do a detailed walk through of my first 10 day sprint results in episode 12.

First Quarterly Review

Here’s how it went down…

Big accomplishments in the last 25 days:

  1. Launched The Results 513 Show
  2. Put out 18 consecutive high value episodes
  3. Learned how to do all the stuff I was scared to do when starting this journey

Note: #3 is a biggie… Most people let fear stop them from doing the things you really want to do… But I’m not most people… If you are reading this, YOU are not most people.

‘Round here, fear doesn’t stand a chance…
‘Round here, we make fear our bitch.

Areas I need to improve in the next 25 days:

  1. Get further ahead in my Coschedule calendar. (more episodes ready to go in the bank)
  2. Refine the CTA’s on the show AND blog (template intros & outros for all diff show types)
  3. Set more attainable 10 day goals

I am proud that:

“Every single episode has been released on time! I’m also REALLY proud that the ball is finally rolling on this show… It’s been far to long to get going.”

I am excited about:

“The opportunity to impact all these new peoples lives with my awesomeness! Also, very excited to have this daily automatic content machine up and running on autopilot soon!”

I am surprised by:

“The overwhelming amount of positive feedback I have received for the show thus far – it’s truly been AMAZING! (3-5 new compliments PER DAY) — Now, if I could only get more people to start engaging (commenting) more on the blog posts. :)”

Thoughts / Ideas / Musings:

“Like all good entrepreneurs have to do from time to time, I had to pivot away from the 2nd set of 10 day goals I wrote down to capitalize on a bigger opportunity to get the show A LOT more exposure. I was a bit ‘bummed’ at first (for getting off track) but then I remembered that it’s totally fine to pivot. Some of my biggest breakthroughs in business have come after a pivot. Overall, I am still on track to reach this goal.

There is a lot more work to be done before this show is running on autopilot like I want it to be, but I’m not scared of hard work… Bring it on! The show is getting better everyday, and I can’t believe that I’m already 25% there!”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…

I honestly think The Freedom Journal is one of the best tools that I’ve got in my arsenal when it comes to keeping me focused and accountable. I HIGHLY recommend you pick up your copy right now if you haven’t done so already. (there’s a reason over 1300 backers supported the kickstarter campaign on the FIRST DAY of the launch – and as I write this that number has grown to over 4500 backers)

It’s on track to break the all time book launch record on kickstarter. (which is currently held by Eric Ries at $589k) – Right now the freedom journal is over $284k, and there are still 18 days left in the campaign.

Take Action:

  • Go here and get your copy of the freedom journal now
  • set your SMART goal and CRUSH your first 25 days!

Did This Help You? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if you commented below and shared on Facebook.
