Here are the questions we asked Molly Dalbec , and a quick summary of her answers:

If you had to pick just ONE thing you are THANKFUL for along your journey…what or who, would that be?

I have to give the credit to God. Without my spiritual connection I wouldn’t have felt led or even have the creative juices or the grace to get me through some of the ups and downs that I’ve experienced. I would definitely give the credit and thanks to God.

Looking back over your journey, did you ever get to the point of quitting or giving up?

I was most thankful for the setbacks even though some of them were so hard. I was not an overnight success. In fact I’ve failed miserably for 6-7 years over several attempts. I was $35,000+ in debt throughout that process, that learning curve. I had many nights of crying myself to sleep asking God ‘Why did I feel so led to this entrepreneurial path when there is so much pain involved, and growth, and stretching and learning.

When I look back at all of those moments, when I felt as if I was failing, I was really developing in me the characteristics that I needed to now sustain the type of business that I have today, knowing that there are going to be some setbacks. There are going to be some hard times. But if you stay the path and keep developing yourself and keep your dream at the forefront, and keep a constant reminder of the lifestyle you want to have. Not only for yourself but also for your family.

But then you start helping others transform their life, then it no longer becomes just about yourself. Was there a time I felt like quitting? Yes. Lots of times. At least 6 times in that 7 years of failure.

But by that point I realized I was fully ‘committed to the pot’. I had already invested so much. Obviously my heart was in it. It got to the point that I realized that ‘If I give up then the only person I’m really giving up on is me, and all the people I could potentially be helping.’

I’m grateful for that. Looking at my business, at times I would have normally thrown in the towel, I developed the characteristics of doing whatever it takes, and picking myself up again.

I learned the lesson ‘that when you fall down you just gotta get back up’. That’s a part of life.

Did you ever have a desire to work a JOB or have you always wanted to do your own thing?

Nothing was like a sign staring me in the face. It was definitely a process.

In high school I was never groomed for success. Growing up none of my family had been to college. All my friends started going to college. But I wasn’t getting good grades and didn’t graduate with a high GPA. I left high school feeling like a loser.

I spent some time search for ‘what do I want to do’. I got into the workforce. I did go into college with something to prove. But after a couple of years I saw my future and it looked so grim to me.

I remember getting a 12 cent raise and thinking ‘this is crazy!’. I felt like a round peg in a square hole.

I just felt like I did not fit on. It was not apparent to me that I was supposed to be heading in another direction. I just felt that there was something wrong with me. I didn’t conform to the typical 9-5 mindset.

That was a really hard time for me. I felt alone and not understood. I didn’t feel like I could talk to anyone.

What mindsets and beliefs have you adopted that have served you well?

I started to dive into the beautiful world of personal development. I started to read books and go to seminars and really educate myself in the area of growing myself.

My early mentor, Dani Johnson told me – ‘Your paycheck will never surpass your personal growth.’

I realized I could grow myself, think differently, think different about my beliefs about money (coming from a poverty mindset). It was a really long process of retraining my mind for abundance and even allowing for success to be acceptable.

Coming from my childhood I always thought that ‘rich people were bad and greed. It was better to be poor and humble. Give what you can and be meek.’ And not ask a lot out of life.

What is one specific thing or big breakthrough you can attribute to achieving your amazing results in your business?

After all of my ‘failures’ I was finally ready. I grew a ton in the process. By the time I was introduced to my present company, 4 and half years ago, I had developed myself enough personally.

I was working a full time job, hammering the phone calling cold leads, jumping on all the calls and flying to every event I could get my hands on. So when this business came across my desk I was ready.

I decided if I was going to do this I was going to go and play all out, and I did.

Who are some authors, speakers, and coaches that have inspired you along the way?

I am a firm believer seeking out the training and mentorship in alignment of the season of where you are.

Dani Johnson is a person that I recommend, she has some really great tools. I utilize a lot of training that I’ve got across the years from her.

I read a lot of spiritually based personal development. I read everything John C Maxwell, Think and Grow Rich. I loved The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. It had so much power in it!

I’m constantly feeding myself. I don’t watch movies I read personal development books.

Many successful entrepreneurs have rituals or habits that they practice on a daily basis that keeps you focused and moving forward…What is something you do consistently every day that helps you achieve your results?

I love journalling one a week. Now I do and I’ve converted to a digital journal. It’s helpful to get my thoughts out.

On a daily basis I either alternate between mediation and prayer. I set my intention and look at my calendar and plan. I pray to God and release the outcome.

What does a typical day look like for you?

I have to read something positive, something personal development.

I have to my cup of coffee.

I set the intention, say a prayer, release the stress.

I usually have my calls all set up for the day.

I do a lot of work on the form.

Setting goals with team members, 3 way calls.

Backend website stuff.

I’m basically done by 3.30pm

I pick up my sons from school.

I have kid time from 3.30 to 6.30.

From 6-8 I get back to work.

It’s a crazy life but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I love my life, my kids and my business!

What has been the best investment that you made for yourself?

The best investment has been in myself. Everything can be taken away from you. But no one can take away how you’ve grown as a person. No one can take away that mindset, your belief systems your experiences.

I have a personal coach that I’ve spent a lot of money on. I’ve flown to countless seminars.

If you lost everything (except your knowledge) and had to start completely over from scratch tomorrow, what (if anything) would you change about your journey?

I would probably create video stating what my products are. I would allow people to hire me to teach them I would set up some sort of funnel and teach about my services. And drive people to that people. I’d become a person of value.

Why do you do what you do?

At the end of the day it’s about transformation and giving people hope that they can change. Most people don’t know that there is another way. So many people are living small and safe. I love being able to shine a light that there is hope for everyone. Everyone has a greater purpose of their life.

People can realise that there is a whole another world of opportunity, and excitement and live every making a big difference in someone else’s life. That gives me so much joy. Helping people transform their life. To be that person of positive change and spread that hope. And as you increase your finances and reach you can always you can give back and make more of an impact.

The sky’s the limit. You can keep growing bigger to help other people to become world changers.

One last parting piece of advice?

Just get started. You don’t need all the answers. You’ll keep evolving. Don’t be afraid to make the wrong decision as long as you’re moving forward. Get someone to help you to go to of advice.

Just start taking action! Don’t wait another minute to build your dreams!
