#513Insights…In episode 46, we released our interview with traffic and lead generation expert, Vince Reed.

And today, Brenda and I are back in front of the camera to talk ABOUT that interview.

We’re going to break it down question by question, and talk about our own personal takeaways and insights.

The Breakdown…

Here are the questions we asked Vince, and a quick summary of his answers:

  • if you had to pick just ONE thing you are THANKFUL for along your journey…what or who, would that be?

Vince is  “hands down” most grateful for his relationship with God.

  • What is your business model?

Vince helps business owners scale their business. He has a coaching system where he teaches the latest traffic methods. He has a live event model. And for those that want to connect with him more, they can get that as well. (one on one)

They do what they teach. They don’t just teach traffic… They are actually out their getting traffic and building businesses.

  • When you first started your entrepreneurial journey, did you get the results you were hoping for on your first attempt, or did you have any failures along the way?

Early on Vince drew a line in the sand and said this is what I’m going to do… And his confidence came from just seeing other people like him doing it. So he knew it was possible, so he just made the decision to do it.

And some of the things early on that he thought were “not working” actually were working… (eg. he would spend $1,000 on ads to get traffic and clicks… and he was getting them… But he just thought since he didn’t make $1000 back that it wasn’t working.)

  • What mindsets and beliefs have you adopted that have served you well?

Understanding that success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time. You can do anything you put your mind to. Invest in yourself. Learn how to do it. Put in the time, and get the results.

  • what is one specific thing or big breakthrough you can attribute to achieving your amazing results in your business?

Being consistent doing webinars each and every week.

There is no try. If someone comes to him in the office with a new idea, his response is “are you prepared to do it forever?”

When communicating to your prospects, its important to focus on the individual instead of focusing on a “list of people”.

Focusing on consistently adding “touches” to back end. (how many times can you be in front of your customers)

  • Best investment you’ve ever made?

His computer. Mentors and coaches along the way.

  • Many successful entrepreneurs have rituals or habits that they practice on a daily basis that keeps you focused and moving forward…What is something you do consistently every day that helps you achieve your results?

Like most high performers, Vince has a very specific morning routine that he follows.

Starts the day with a green smoothie. Alarm goes off at 5:30am. Workout done by 6:15am. Taking care of your body and energy levels are important. Its the only way that you can get through the day.

  • what does a typical work week look like for you?

90% of Vince’s day is “expanding campaigns”

  • If you lost everything (except your knowledge) and had to start completely over from scratch tomorrow, what (if anything) would you change about your journey?

Here’s what he would do…

  1. Find a newbie and veteran entrepreneur
  2. ask them “can i do your marketing for 100% free”?
  3. get them results and get their testimonial on camera
  4. share their testimonial with other business owners and offer them your services to get them similar results.
  • Why do you do what you do?

It’s hasn’t been about the money for a long time. It’s all about seeing others win. When that happens, its the equivalent of being paid a million dollars.

  • Parting piece of advice for our listeners, to help them achieve the results they are looking for.

Your level of expectations must match your level of expertise. AKA – If you want to make a million dollars,  you need to have a million dollars worth of value to offer. Focus on improving your personal value level. Understand that the amount of money you make represents the amount of value you offer the world. And you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
