Episode #095: Interview: Molly Dalbec

Summary:

Your strategy begins by determining your objective behind building an email list. If your goal is to create an asset then the first step is to learn about the people you will be emailing. Get clear on who they are, and what type of emails they want to receive. The better you know what they want, the better your chances of them actually reading your emails. (because you are sending them exactly what they want)

  • Decide what you want to do with your list.
  • Decide what your target market wants.
  • Create a clear call to action and giveaway.

They also discuss how to use a lead magnet to get your visitors to happily hand over their name and email address. Main Takeaway: 

Several things matter when it comes to increasing your conversion on a capture page. The traffic source matters, the page design matters, how many things you ask them for matters, the thing that you are giving away in exchange for the email matters… it all matters. To capture more leads, look at all of these areas and test them one by one.

Action Step(s):

  • Determine the purpose of your lead magnet.
  • Decide what tools you want to use to create it (we use ClickFunnels).
  • Get to work on creating it!
  • Jot down at least one thing that you are committed to implement into your business.

Episode #099: The 5 Business GAME CHANGERS (Lesson 4 of 5)

Summary:

I’ve been in this business for 8 years, and during that time I’ve been incredibly blessed. I’ve grown 2 businesses from scratch to over $1 Million in sales. I’m currently working on my 3rd. (I don’t tell you that to brag, I tell you that to let you know that I know what I’m doing…at least to some degree.) I’ve learned countless lessons on my journey as an entrepreneur. I was recently thinking about many of those lessons, and thought it would be cool to share with you the 5 that have had the biggest impact on my life and business. I call ’em GAME CHANGERS! So this episode (92) is where I teach lesson 4 of 5 that have served me the best over the years…

Being proactive is the exact opposite of being reactive. When you are proactive, you are in control of your circumstances. (When you are reactive your circumstances are in control of you). If you are not proactive, you will automatically be reactive.

Episode #100: How To Be More Consistent

Summary:

Welcome to episode 100! In this episode, Brenda and Justin reflect back over the first 100 shows, and talk about takeaways and lessons learned so far. In addition to that, they talk about the importance of consistency, and tips on how to become (or stay) consistent with anything in your life.

Main Takeaway:  

  1. Take responsibility for the process, not the potential results. Think about what your responsibility is, i.e., get out of bed and get to the gym.
  2. Realize that all you have to do is:  just do the thing.
  3. There has to be a level of “Do you enjoy what you’re doing?” If you despise and hate what you’re doing, it will be a long road. But there will be times when you don’t enjoy it.
  4. If you don’t enjoy it, get back in touch with the big picture.
  5. Use reminders in your environment. Make sure your workstation is conducive to getting work done. When you’re pumped, it’s easy to get the work done; if you’re amped, it can help you get back into flow.

Go back and listen to the first few episodes and hear us start this journey. And you can see what worked. Those first 10-12 episodes really layout the plan.

Action Step(s):

  • Ask yourself “What do I want to be consistent in?”
  • Get an accountability partner.
  • Create an environment conducive to your new habit.
  • Jot down at least ONE thing that you are committed to implementing in your business.
  • Keep tuning into the Results 513 Show daily and let’s make it happen together.
